All About Me!
Hi, my name is Miss Hodgkinson, but I am also known as Miss Hodge. I have been the deputy head teacher at Wheatley Hill Primary since September 2017. Before I worked here at Wheatley Hill, I was a teacher for ten years in another local school.
I live in Sunderland, near the ski slope, where some of you go sometimes for outdoor education. At home, I live with my partner, Keith (the messiest person on the planet!) and my two children. My daughter is called Amber - she loves to play dodge-ball, sing and dance. My son is called Charlie - he LOVES football! On a weekend, we like to take our dogs (Lola and Beau) out to the park and to the beach.
When I have some spare time, I like to go shopping, with my mam, and to the cinema, with my friends. I like listening to music and sitting in my garden, in the warmer weather. My favourite colour is pink (or anything sparkly) and I am partial to a galaxy ripple every now and again.
At school, my favourite lessons are English and Art. English because I love to read stories and Art because I love to draw - I love colourful pictures. I am very proud of the children at Wheatley Hill Primary and I love being a part of this caring, inclusive school, at the heart of the community.
My door is always open, so if you have any questions, concerns or comments, no matter how big or small, feel free to pop in and see me!
