Breakfast Club
We have a thriving Breakfast Club at Wheatley Hill Primary School and it is very affordable costing from £1 per day. Children should consider attending our Breakfast club:
• We are open every day, from 7:30am to 8.50am.
• We are open to all ages, from Two Year Old Provision to Year 6.
• Children receive a healthy choice of breakfast.
• It is proven to improve attendance and punctuality.
• It is proven to increase your child’s learning by giving them a healthy start to the day.
Breakfast Club is situated in our Dining Hall.
Children may be dropped off at 7:30am (£2) or 8:00am (£1). For breakfast, children can choose from a selection of healthy cereals, fruit, yoghurts and there is always a hot breakfast item.
Once the children have eaten, the children stay in the dining hall, where toys, books and games are provided for them. Halls are supervised by the Breakfast Club staff as well as Early Years staff for the younger children. For Nursery & Two Year Old Provision breakfast club, charges vary due to staff ratios therefore speak to your Family Group Educator for details.
Our Breakfast Club is extremely popular but we always have room for more, so hopefully we will see your child there soon.

Teatime Club
Tea Time club at Wheatley Hill is a wonderfully vibrant environment that our children love attending for many different reasons. Welcoming pupils from age two through to Year 6, our session prices vary depending on your child's age and length of stay:
-
Nursery & F2 (until 4pm): £2.00 | Years 1–6: £1.00
-
Nursery & F2 (until 5pm): £5.00 | Years 1–6: £4.00
A comprehensive price list is always available from the school office. Places are pre-booked to accommodate varying schedules, which we happily manage; simply complete your booking form via Arbor.
Our club begins right as the school day ends at 3:15pm. The children gather in the hall to enjoy a delicious selection of wholesome snacks—with homemade burgers, fish fingers, sandwiches, pasta, fresh fruit, and yoghurts serving as just a few examples of what is regularly available.
At 3:30pm, the children choose their preferred afternoon environment, either heading outside for engaging sports activities or remaining in the hall. Indoor options allow them to read, dress up, play with cars, trains, and Lego, enjoy board games, or explore creative arts and crafts.
Our team of four dedicated staff members interacts beautifully with the children throughout the session, ensuring it remains a high-quality, enriching experience. Recent feedback highlights how much our pupils adore Tea Time club, while parents frequently note that their children simply do not want to leave—confirming just how special our provision is.
Should you require any further information, please contact the School Office.
Football Club

Our Wheatley Hill Football Club runs from Monday to Thursday for various age groups across the school. All children who attend must not only work hard on the pitch, but also demonstrate excellent behaviour and positive attitudes towards learning in school.
Children will just need to bring their own boots or trainers. For more information, please speak to the School Office.

Chromebook Club
Chromebook Club is about inspiring and encouraging the love of digital technology, independent study, and modern skills for our older pupils in Years 3 to 6.
Our members attend each morning and evening to complete additional learning, boost their academic progress, get quicker at typing, and develop creative digital projects, all whilst safely charging their school device. Every session provides a fantastic opportunity for pupils to explore new software, collaborate on educational activities, and build their confidence with technology in a supportive environment.
The club runs every single morning and night throughout the week, and we are proud to say that it is completely free for all eligible children. It offers a wonderful, productive space for pupils to enhance their digital literacy and excel.

Guitar Club
All our school children have the opportunity to learn essential musical and performance skills.
It takes place once a week throughout the year and it is run by Jamie, our resident music specialist.
During these sessions the children learn:
-
Chords
-
How to read basic notation
-
How to play popular melodies
-
Tuning and maintaining their instruments properly
-
Rhythm and timing
-
Solo and group playing.
The children then apply these skills by working alongside their peers during independent practice to master new musical pieces. They help to support newer members with the finger placements needed for tricky chords, under the close guidance of the specialist. The children are responsible for managing their instrument care.
These are valuable creative skills that will continue to inspire them wherever they are.
