Children at Wheatley Hill Primary were involved throughout the interview and appointment process of our new Deputy Headteacher.
"I am part of the school council. We made the questions and then we listen to the Deputy Headteachers and then they ask us a question about ourselves. I enjoyed doing to DHT appointments and my favourite part was when we got to ask them a question." - Amie (Year 6) "I did the DHT appointments and we interviewed people and we asked questions to find out who we thought was best. We asked things like, "why do you want to be in our school?" and "what inspires you to become and DH?", "what would you bring from your old school to the new school?". My favourite thing was that we got to ask them questions but they got to ask us questions too" -Mason (Year 3)
